For accommodation:

Naturebridge is a summer camp for kids… and there are 36 cabins/rooms each with about 3 bunk-beds — some with double beds. About half of the cabins have connected (shared) bathrooms, for the other half you need to walk a very short distance outside to get to the bathroom. It’s definitely a little rustic. We should be able to accommodate everyone, or almost everyone, who wants to stay in the cabins — totally free (yay!). It’s no 5 stars… but it is free :). In order to do this most people will need to share with other couples. We took a first stab at it and more than 90% of the time it would be with people you know — and hopefully like :).

The only challenge (apart from undiagnosed snoring) is families with children, since we still don’t know who is definitely going to come, and how many kids they are going to bring. If everyone comes with kids we may be a little tight and will have to ask some people to find their own accommodations from the other options below.

If you’re up for this, we would love it if you could let us know by the end of July by using the RSVP link above. At that point we will create a cabin chart (a la 6th grade camp) and let people know if they need to find accommodation off-site. When you RSVP let us know  if you have preference for who you might like to share a room/cabin with (like one other couple, or a friend traveling solo, etc).  :)

And we know this may not be everyone’s style :)Sooo, if you’d like a bit more privacy or luxury…here are some great options:

The best alternative option is Lake Crescent Lodge. Lake Crescent Lodge is about a seven minute walk along a path through the woods from Naturebridge. We have reserved 17 rooms for Wedding Guests. A few of those are going to specific relatives, but the remainder we will put up first come/first serve.

The second best alternative option is the Log Cabin Resort. It’s a great property, also on Lake Crescent – but about a 15 minute drive away (and not walkable). We have about 15 rooms held here for wedding guests.

After that, you could stay at the Hot Springs (beautiful, but about a 45 minute drive) or in Port Angeles (many many options, but about a 30-45 minute drive from Naturebridge)

Detail on options:

ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION OPTION 1: Lake Crescent Lodge

We have reserved 17 rooms. If you click on the link above you can see the deatils of each room/cabin. Prices vary from $115 to $275 per night.

To book a room call 1-800-204-3116 and/or visit the Lake Crescent Lodge website.

ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION OPTION 2: Log Cabin Resort

We are holding a number of cabins (~15) at The Log Cabin Resort (phone# 1-800-204-3116; the code is 2KA7DD). These cabins are about a 15 minute drive from Naturebridge, still on Lake Crescent. The cabins vary in ‘rusticness’, but most have their own bathroom and beautiful views. If you need your own room and there are no rooms left at Lake Crescent we highly recommend this resort. Their website is and their address is 3183 E Beach Rd, Port Angeles, WA.

ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION OPTION 3: Sol Duc Hot Springs

Sol Duc is a wonderful property and those staying there get free access to the hot springs themselves. It is great place to stay if you choose to spend a few days in the area before or after the wedding. It is about a 30-45 minute drive from Naturebridge through windy roads.

ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION OPTION 4: Red Lion Hotel, Port Angeles

There are a number of hotels in and around Port Angeles. All are around 30-45 minute drive from Naturebridge. We have scouted PA and we could recommend this hotel, but there are many others.
